On September 06th, 2024, at the Sofitel Phnom Penh Hotel, a ceremony was held to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Bank for Investment and Development of Cambodia Plc (BIDC), Cambodia-Vietnam Insurance Plc (CVI) and other member companies of BIDV in Cambodia. This event not only marked as an important milestone for BIDC and CVI in Cambodia but also served as an occasion to acknowledge the significant contributions and achievements of BIDV’s commercial representative in Cambodia.
The ceremony was attended by many high-ranking government officials, including ministers from various Cambodian ministries, as well as senior representatives and leaders from BIDV. Among the notable attendees were Samdech Men Sam An – member of the Cambodian King’s Supreme Advisory Council – the President of the Cambodia-Vietnam Friendship Association, along with senior representatives from Cambodian ministries, state agencies, the Royal Government of Cambodia, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam in Cambodia, who came to congratulate the achievements of BIDC, CVI, and BIDV’s commercial presence in Cambodia.
During the ceremony, CVI was honored to receive the award from BIDV. The award is the recognition of CVI’s outstanding efforts and achievements in contributing to the overall development, growth and success of BIDV’s banking and insurance business in the Cambodian market over the past 15 years.
